How did you end up becoming a trainer/class instructor?: I was involved in athletics my entire life. When it became time to choose a vocation, exercise was a great starting point to grow and develop the higher faculties of mind, body and spirit.
Describe your class style: Fun, energetic, positive, uplifting!
Describe your teaching/training style/philosophy: A holistic approach that brings about mind-body awareness and more personal wholeness. Once a specific dream or goal is realized, then the steps can be prepared in order to achieve the result. Correct balancing of the system is then coupled with proper movement patternization. Further strengthening and development is then implemented to the degree of the person’s goal. In concert with proper nutritional practice and mental/emotional work, total integrated health between all levels of the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical bodies is further realized through growth and development.
3 most important things when it comes to training: Function. Integration. Performance.
What sports or athletic endeavors you had in your youth: Basketball, football, baseball, lacrosse, skateboarding, boxing, kickboxing, MMA
Most challenging lift/exercise or sport: MMA because you need to know different disciplines and be on a very high degree of physical conditioning as well as being mentally strong and tough enough to handle it.
Hobbies outside of the gym: Going to the beach, tai chi, playing guitar, traveling, practicing health, engaging in life
Favorite food: Bacon egg and cheese on a roll.. from New York!
Dream vacation: Around the world trip going from places like New York, Greece, Italy, S Africa, India, SE Asia, Australia, Hawaii back to Cali

What does it mean to you to have ideal fitness?: Having mobility, flexibility and functional capacities of strength and power in order to carry out the necessary tasks of sports and/or daily activities
What do you love most about IRON?: It’s a great facility with a lot of great people in a close-knit community
