Using both her experience and her knowledge, Brooke is well-versed in getting her clients to their healthiest and happiest form!

Samuel Chewning

With 10+ years in the industry, Sam has experience with all types of exercise all the way up to the collegiate level. He does an amazing job of keeping his clients interested in working out by creating a workout program style that fits best with their aspirations and lifestyle. Sam’s expertise includes sport-specific training, nutritional health, program design, exercise physiology and pragmatic and dynamic stretching. Sam strives to enlighten and inspire people so they can feel both the emotional and physical benefits of making exercise a lifestyle.

Sean Dube

Sean’s background is quite impressive. He not only has over 10 years of training experience, but he also holds a double degree in Kinesiology and Biochemistry from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. While there, Sean worked in the energy metabolism lab and the muscle biophysics lab doing Masters work in Physiology. Outside of his education, Sean has walked the walk. He has competed in drug-tested bodybuilding contests, raw powerlifting meets, and regularly helps other competitors compete (and win) in their respective sports. Sean has worked with a large variety of clients across the fitness spectrum, ranging from pure beginners to elite athletes. Whether you’re new to fitness or ready to take your competing to the next level, Sean is your guy!

Jermain Hollman

Jermain grew up playing in all sports, including Boxing, Basketball, Baseball, Track and Field and Football. His diverse sports background has allowed him to help all types of people ranging from sedentary folks to professional athletes. Jermain’s training style incorporates boxing, strength training, and conditioning.  His positive mindset and motivational approach makes him one of our most sought after trainers, and continuously helps his clients get the best results possible.

Evan is a personal trainer and kickboxing coach who specializes in strength training, kettlebell exercise, advanced bodyweight training, and injury prevention. He’s been coaching for over 10 years, and has been interested in all aspects of fitness from a young age. Additionally, he has experience training in several styles of martial arts, including Karate, American Kickboxing, Boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Wrestling. Evan’s vast knowledge and experience helps his clients feel strong and look great, while not having to worry about being injured during training or sports.

Frank is a well-rounded personal trainer with over 10 years of experience. Starting as an amateur kickboxer in Long Island before moving to functional training, Frank brings a versatile training style that allows him to help all different types of people including women, men, and children. His true passion is geared towards helping people get proper functionality through core conditioning, corrective exercise, and movement pattern development. Frank has a specialization in exercise therapy and is a holistic lifestyle coach through the C.H.E.K institute.

Melissa Minkovsky

Melissa started dancing at the age of 3 and never stopped! She is now a professional commercial and contemporary dancer here in Los Angeles with 8 years of competing on regional and national teams as well. When it comes to training, she utilizes a wide range of training modalities including barbells, kettlebells, bodyweight exercises, and plyometrics. This variety allows her to efficiently support her clients’ individual interests outside of the gym and to enhance their overall functional movement. Her training style is athletic and detail-oriented, with a focus on creating new challenges for clients both mentally and physically.

Courage Tshabalala

  • Former Professional Boxer (Heavyweight)

Discovered at the young age of 13 in a small town outside of Johannesburg, Courage quickly gained a reputation for domination in the ring, with a jaw-dropping 68 wins by KO and only 4 losses as an amateur heavyweight fighter. Mentored by Hall of Famer Lou Duva and coached by Tommy Brooks, he became the most reputable Springbok captain to date, and famously fought Marcos Gonzalez and Nick Kendrick. Courage turned his career over to coaching after a succesful career and has trained and coached all types of people from those just looking to get in shape to professional boxers. Some of the fighters he has coached include Ronnie Shields, Dante Craig, Ishe Smith, Junior Jones, and recently, Pernell Whitaker during his fight against Felix Trinidad at Madison Square Garden. Courage continues to coach professional and amateur boxers alike, and trains 1-on-1 as well as small group boxing at IRON. He is known to train with high energy, with a strong focus on technique, and is equally known for his candid silliness and humor around the gym! Don’t be intimidated by this teddy bear, but be prepared, as he’s ready to work with you and push you to your highest potential!

Lerone McElrath

Born and raised in LA, Lerone grew up boxing, weight training, playing football, and running track. When his cousin turned pro in the boxing world, Lerone started learning more about the sport, and started coaching at boxing gyms in the neighborhood. Lerone has over 15 years of experience coaching individuals from all walks of life and will not only teach you how to box, but will get you in the best shape of your life!

Max Ramirez

Max was introduced to boxing in the early 90’s by his father after an altercation with a group of bullies. Max’s father encouraged him to join a local boxing club so he could defend himself and learn discipline, humility and self respect. Max was coached and mentored by hall of fame trainer, Danny Zamora, who invested his time in him and taught him everything from the ground up. While Max enjoyed amateur fighting in his youth and was anticipating to one day turn professional, life took him down a different path and thus his coaching career began. Max found himsefl working alongside some of boxing’s  best up and coming talent in Los Angeles and ended up coaching youth boxing through the USA BOXING circuit in his local region. Eventually, he ended up with his own small stable of professional fighters. Max believes Boxing is an amazing tool to teach kids about life and instill valuable life lessons in them that will impact their lives in positive ways. He also loves what the sport has to offer for fitness enthusiasts who are looking for new and fun ways to stay fit, as he believes nothing beats a boxing workout!

His well-rounded background along with his astute sense working with clients over the years, Kevin will help you define and execute on all of your goals and get you the results you’ve always wanted!

Toni Longoria

Coming from a background in dance and martial arts, Toni was immediately drawn to the flow and movement of yoga. In her yoga classes you will find the freedom to flow in your own body, connecting breath to movement. She is also the founder of IRON’s exclusive speciality class: Cardio Kick’Asana, where you get to combine the benefits of kickboxing with yoga for a balanced class of flow and intensity. It’s the workout you never knew you wanted, but will be glad you found once you try it! When she’s not teaching at IRON, she enjoys training in the gym and getting her butt kicked in IRON’s Boxing classes! She enjoys balancing out her strength training workouts with a yoga practice. Yoga doesn’t just happen on your mat, this practice helps in all aspects of life.
